Description

Every day, the American Red Cross sees the heartbreak of people trying to cope with more intense storms, heavier rainfall, higher temperatures, stronger hurricanes and more devastating wildfires. As more people rely on the Red Cross for help, the need for compassionate volunteers has never been greater. You can help comfort and support people who are forced from their homes due to fires, storms and other emergencies, so they don’t have to face tough times alone.

The purpose of this position is to provide leadership to Disaster Cycle Services workers in performing sheltering activities during preparedness, response, and recovery within a chapter or territory.
