Required attire: We ask that volunteers wear black pants, a white shirt, and comfortable flat shoes. Pants and shirt should both be plain and not tight fitting.  We provide vests, which fit loosely and are comfortable.  Ladies are asked not to wear skirts, dresses, or heels, although any attire due to religious reasons is acceptable.  Any skirts or dresses must be modest in length.

Assigned Tasks:  A volunteer at the Riley center may be asked to do one or more of the following during a particular event, depending on the volunteer’s preferences, abilities, and experience.

Any task assigned will be taught or guided by an experienced volunteer.

The following areas of knowledge are helpful but not required: First Aid, CPR, OSHA safety standards, bilingual, sign language. Please inform the Box Office Manager if you have any of these skills.

Duration of each opportunity: These will generally be 4-5 hours for each performance.  We do have an event scheduled for Aug. 22 which will require about 6 hours of volunteer time.  A volunteer MAY work that whole time or just part.  Most volunteers will be expected to stand for most, if not all, of the time worked.

Scheduled dates for opportunities :

      August 22, 2020  - Sara Evans concert – call time  4:00 p.m.

Times are subject to change.  Also, one caveat;  Many volunteers show up expecting that they will be sitting in the theater during the performances, enjoying the show.  That may not be the case at all.  Some volunteers may never even go in the theater.  We place people where needed at the meeting before performance.
