This cleanup event will take place between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM at Chain Park & Boat Ramp (5619 Hwy 42, Hattiesburg, MS 39401).
A member of the Mississippi Inland Cleanup Program will be there to provide volunteers with all supplies necessary for the park cleanup (gloves, buckets, trash bags, data cards, clipboards, etc.).
We highly encourage participants to bring their own bucket to collect trash, closed-toed shoes, refillable water bottles, and sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses).
We will also be filming this cleanup event to use for future educational, outreach, and promotional materials with the help of a production team from Mississippi State University
