Temple Theatre for the Performing Arts

The Temple Theatre was erected in 1923, and the building was occupied on on November 24, 1924. When completed on August 22, 1927, it was recognized as one of the most beautiful theatres in the South. The theatre consists of a 1,633 seat auditoriumused at the present time for movies, stage presentations and as a civic auditorium. The Temple theatre is a - not for profit - theatre. it is through your donations and support that it will survive.
