ALL ABOARD!!! The Meridian Christmas Express is scheduled for this upcoming Saturday (December 18th) and we are in need of some help making the Meridian Railroad Museum as FESTIVE as we possibly can.
We need some volunteers to help us with hanging lights on the exterior of our historic building (no staples can be utilized due this being a nationally registered historical site) and also adding lights to our train cars parked on the outside of our museum. We are scheduled currently for two work days.
1.) Wednesday December 15th 9am-12pm
2.) Thursday December 16th 9am-12pm
We will need VERY large ladders (bonus if you know someone with an bucket truck that may be willing to come and help) any lights or extension cords you'd be willing to donate to the museum and supplies to help us hang things. All interested parties should contact Lucy Dormont at 601.286.7738
