Description

Need volunteer hours? Want to help make an impact in your community by assisting your local volunteer hub?  This is the perfect way to upgrade your skills, gain valuable experience, and learn more about the nonprofit sector.

A "Hub Helper" volunteer helps with miscellaneous tasks as needed.

General tasks include (but not limited to) the following:

  • Social media: Graphic design, writing, and post sharing
  • Communications: Phone calls, collecting emails
  • Photography: Visit nonprofit events and take photos
  • Newsletter: Proofing and adding emails to Constant Contact
  • Website: Add volunteer opportunities for nonprofits
  • Clerical: Spreadsheets and note taking
  • Public Relations and Advocacy: Help answer questions at the Hub tent at various events

 Qualifications:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Willing to learn
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good attitude
  • Responsible

*Must have personal computer as work will be completed remotely. 

*Training will take place once a team of approximately 10 participants are signed up!
